This is the start of a series of interviews with Thomas Fricke and german economists regarding new economic thinking, initiated by the Global Climate Forum (GCF) and the Financial Times Deutschland (FTD).
Recently, Thomas Straubhaar, Director of the Hamburg Institute of International Economics, has expressed massive criticism of an economic orthodoxy that he himself represented for a long time. He did so in an interview with Thomas Fricke, chief economist of the Financial Times Deutschland, which generated a controversial discussion discussion.
